Just after I graduated from high school, I was invited to join the Amway business. Is there anyone else besides me old enough to remember the Amway business? After I joined the business, I was taught the L.A.S.E.R. system. The "L" in LASER stands for "the List". I was told to make a physical, written list of every person on earth whom I knew who lived in the United States. I was then told how to "approach" the people on my list. The "A" in LASER stands for "the Approach". I was then taught how to give an effective "sales presentation". The "S" in LASER stands for "sales presentation".
